Sadie Amara Calvano was born in America. She is best known for her role as Violet Plunkett from the CBS comedy series 'Mom.' Calvano was born in California and initially was interested in gymnastics. Later, she decided to follow a career of acting. In an episode of CBS's"NCIS," the show "NCIS" the actress made her debut in the year 2010. In the biographical crime drama movie J Edgar, she made her debut on the big screen a couple of months after. In the ensuing years she's made herself known among the most promising young actors in the current industry. In 2011, she received the Young Artist Award nomination for Best Actress on a TV Series and guest Actress 11-15. In 2013, for the role of a guest on Disney XD's "Kickin' it Comedy Series She was also nominated for an Young Artist Award. Calvano played a major role in "Mom", the series' first three season in addition to making several cameos in Season 4. Her outing in 'Mom' garnered her the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in 2015.
