Bonnie Schneider works as a journalist for CNN. She is also the producer on camera and co-executive for the DIY NETWORK TV special called LAST HOUSE RUNNING that premiered March 30, 2012 Her first book EXTREME WEATHER published Palgrave Macmillan on January 31 in 2012. Schneider also covered entertainment, lifestyle and other topics as Special Assignment Reporter three days per week while she was in Boston. Before joining WB56, she served as the weekend forecaster for WFOR-TV Miami. She worked in several reports and meteorology roles in News 12 Long Island - the 24-hour news channel - and WXII-TV - the NBC affiliate station located in Winston-Salem. In New York City, she worked as a fill-in meteorologist on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
